Applying for Plus1 matched funding? Here’s what you need to know
Plus1 is open for applications and we've compiled a suite of resources to help you write a cracking application
With Plus1 matched funding, organisations can attract new donors, build valuable relationships and networks for new and diverse revenue sources, and boost fundraising skills.
In addition, many supporters and investors see matched funding as a means of extending their contribution—a matched fundraising campaign can be a powerful incentive in securing first-time investment from previously untapped donors or philanthropists.

This year, we’ve made some changes to Plus1. Most significantly, we’ve established two streams for applicants.
Stream A is for applicants who have a turnover of less than $500,000. Applicants in this stream can request up to $25,000 in matched funding from Plus1.
Stream B is for applicants who have a turnover in excess of $500,000 and who remained under the cap limit of $5 million. Applicants in Stream B can request up to $50,000 in matched funding.
We’ve made this change to better support organisations with a lower annual turnover, and to emphasise one of the core intents of the Plus1 program: to provide transformative fundraising opportunities for organisations to equip them with a foundation for growing future private sector support. We’ve also brought the program dates forward, to allow for an increase in review time (now eight weeks).
