Your presenter – our State Manager, Queensland, Simona Sharry
Simona is a practitioner in events, marketing, fundraising, philanthropy and sponsorship with over 17 years’ experience. She has previously served on the boards of Brisbane Writers Festival and Artisan and has held senior roles with Optus, Suncorp, Queensland Rugby, Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and Surf Life Saving QLD.
Highlights have included securing million dollar partnerships on behalf of not-for profit organisations and businesses, establishing Optus’ philanthropic Connecting Communities Grants Program, managing Suncorp’s partnership with Youngcare and marketing Optus’ mobile broadcast of the Australian Open – the first Australian sporting event streamed to iPhone.
